This lab trains you to interrupt music intentionally, not accidentally.

You’ll learn how to divide, perforate, and reassemble phrases on the fly while staying grounded in the music.

• practice call-and-response and phrase fragmentation

• work with lyrics, vocal lines, and musical accents

• strengthen control under unexpected musical shifts

• apply these tools with live musicians
