Workshop – Ear Training & Analysis

After the success of Michael’s Ear Training and Taqsim workshops at GoLive!, he’s back with a new 3-part series: Ear Training & Analysis.

This course bridges the worlds of music and movement — expanding on the foundation set at GoLive! 2025 and crafted specifically for dancers.

Through guided listening and analysis, participants will learn to:

• Identify melodic phrases and pitch

• Recognize song structure and emotional flow

• Translate musical nuance into movement with greater authenticity

Each class deepens your musical intuition, helping you hear, feel, and respond to the music with confidence and artistry.
